I first met Hasson in 2005, when he came to visit Doane Stuart as a prospective student.  Even in Middle School, he impressed me as a young man who was relaxed and comfortable, but a serious and determined student.  As I came to know Hasson better, my ​regard for him only​ grew. Hasson was once the only freshman on a college trip; I wondered how he would interact with the older students.  It was effortless.  Incredibly likable, Hasson manages to win people​ over​ with apparent ease, earning respect for his actions and demeanor. Hasson ​was an enthusiastic and devoted Student Ambassador while attending Doane Stuart, touring prospective families and representing his school at community functions. I have known Hasson throughout his college career. He has been an active volunteer for Alumni Relations through his participation in the Student Alumni Society (SAS). Hasson toured alumni, become the mascot and has been, in many ways during Alumni Weekend, an extension of our staff. Hasson most recently co-chaired the 2017 CASE ASAP District 1 Conference. In that role he created the schedule of events for sessions based on proposals for that weekend, worked with all presenters on logistics, and spoke at various sessions as co-chair. Hasson’s attitude and positive disposition make him a pleasure to work with on a variety of projects.

Hasson was an important member of our camp staff for several years. He was able to successfully contribute in a number of different roles. Everything from our Food Tent to Sports Camp and Day Camp.
